In a beautiful location in the Sauerland, we have an apartment in the village of Neuastenberg. Located in the middle of a nature reserve, the charming town of Winterberg is only 5 km away. The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 people. It is situated at an altitude of 780 metres. Behind the house there is a large meadow where children can play wonderfully. A playground is only 100 metres from the apartment. From the apartment you can enjoy magnificent views and set off directly on endless hikes in the Rothaarsteig area. Golf Schmallenberg
🏌️♂️ Schmallenberg Golf Club is a true paradise for golfers, situated in the picturesque Sauerland region on a plateau 450 metres above sea level. It is the region’s largest golf course, with 27 holes spread across three loops: Ost, West and Nord2.

Mountainbike
Winterberg Bike Park, situated in the Hochsauerland region, is one of Germany’s largest and most versatile mountain bike parks. With 11 specially designed runs spanning over 12 kilometres, the park offers trails for both beginners and experienced riders. Some popular routes include the iXS Downhill, the Jumpline, North Shore and the RockShox Slopestyle line. Modern chairlifts take you comfortably back up for your next ride.
Directly opposite the Bikepark lies Trailpark Winterberg: a network of 40 kilometres of natural trails, 20 kilometres of which consist of singletrack. The routes range from gentle family trails to technical and steep descents for advanced mountain bikers.
The park is open from April to October and, in addition to bike and protective gear hire, also offers technical training through a specialist bike school. For those without their own kit, modern full-suspension bikes are available.
Every spring, Bikepark Winterberg hosts the Dirt Masters Festival, Europe’s largest freeride event. During this spectacle, thousands of visitors flock to the park for competitions, demos and music, making it a vibrant hotspot for the MTB community.

About the host
Na de vele vakanties in Sauerland zijn wij uiteindelijk gegaan voor een eigen woning in Neuastenberg. Voor ons is deze woning een uitvalsbasis niet alleen voor skiën, maar ook het grote wandelgebied is een uitdaging voor de echte natuurliefhebber. Neuastenberg ligt aan de voet van de Rothaarsteig. Vanaf de Nederlandse grens ben je in ruim 2 uur in Neuastenberg. Dit maakt Neuastenberg uitermate geschikt voor een weekendje of een midweek.

Wij hebben genoten van het huisje. Het is er gezellig, liefdevol en met aandacht ingericht. Op de foto’s lijkt de keuken misschien klein, maar hij is van alle gemakken voorzien. De woonkamer is knus en biedt een mooie speelruimte voor de kinderen. Zou er zeker weer eens komen!
Helemaal bij gekomen van ons weekendje weg. Het nabijgelegen meer is fantastisch voor een wandeling. De open haard maakt het ook extra lekker om binnen te zitten. Ruime slaapkamers en verder helemaal in orde!
Modern, ruim en netjes. Slaapkamers en badkamer waren goed schoongemaakt. Werd ook goed ontvangen door de gastheer. Verblijf als zeer prettig ervaren.
Top huis! Goed geholpen door de gastheer bij aankomst. De ligging is werkelijk perfect. Met de auto ben je zo in de stad. Daarna kan je lekker bijkomen in de serre. Er wordt ook aan het milieu gedacht(afvalscheiding, energie- en waterverbruik). Een aanrader!
Mooi huis tussen de weilanden. Wij zijn wandelliefhebbers dus waren de hele dag op pad. Zelfs van het keukentje gebruik gemaakt voor het ontbijt en kwam eigenlijk niks te kort.
Wat een prachtig huis! Wij hebben ons enorm vermaakt in de grote tuin. De verhuurders hebben ons goed geholpen en waren altijd in de buurt als we ze nodig hadden. De ligging is super mooi. Overdag huppelen er konijnen en ’s nachts een egeltje gezien. Absolute aanrader!
Goed huis. Mooi afwisselend landschap en heel rustig gelegen. Vriendelijke mensen en heerlijk knusse ruimte, met zorg ingericht. Goede houtkachel, lekker bed.
Deze accommodatie is schoon en ruim opgezet. De kamers zijn gezellig en de bedden zijn heel goed. Fijne omgeving. Wandelen, fietsen, watersport etc, de mogelijkheden zijn enorm. Wat bijzonder opvalt is de buitenruimte met prachtige tuin, met BBQ en gezellige zithoekjes met vuurplaats.
Heerlijk rustig en landelijk. We moesten weer even wennen toen we weer thuis in de stad waren! Huisje is compleet, bedstee en tuinhuis zijn een leuke toevoeging. Genoten van de vogeltjes in de tuin.
In een woord geweldig!! De verhuurder is ontzettend behulpzaam en heeft ons goed ontvangen. Wij hebben nu al heimwee en willen weer lekker door het bos wandelen. Echt een goed onderhouden paradijsje!
